Inner tubes covered in paper and adorned with sequins, beads and ribbons outline the artists’ real and made up DNA percentages, daring the viewer to identify each individual.
Back wall: “Conversation Thread”
A video animation piece depicting the artists’ face reading French, Haitian Creole and Spanish excerpts from Haitian and Dominican literature.
Left Wall: “Escena de la Selva”
A projection of an collaborative animated jungle ink drawing suggesting both guerillas, maroons slaves and hiding places for deportes.
